How to buy a Maltipoo with delivery to any city in Ukraine
The question of delivery is often the deciding factor for people who don’t live in Kyiv. People worry: will the puppy arrive safely, who will be with it during the journey, won’t it be too stressful for such a small dog? At MilaPoo Family we deliver maltipoo puppies across all of Ukraine using our own personal courier — and over the years we have refined this process down to the smallest detail. In this article we explain exactly how delivery works, what you receive together with your puppy, and what you need to prepare before the little one arrives. If you are still choosing your puppy, take a look at our puppy catalogue — we always have puppies of different sizes available with a full set of documents.
How maltipoo delivery works across Ukraine
At MilaPoo Family there are two ways to receive your puppy — courier delivery or collection in person. Both options are convenient but suit different situations. Courier delivery is available across all of Ukraine and is carried out by our own personal courier — not a transport company, not a stranger giving a lift, but a person who is directly responsible for the puppy and handles the journey with care and attention. This matters because maltipoo puppies are small and sensitive to stress, and it is important to us that the first travel experience is as comfortable as possible for each little one.
Collection in person is available in three cities — Kyiv, Lviv and Chernivtsi. If you live in one of these cities or nearby, this is a great opportunity to meet us in person, ask all your questions and receive the puppy directly from our hands. The exact location and time of handover are always arranged individually.
How much does delivery cost
Delivery by our own courier is included in the price of the puppy and is free of charge for the buyer. We made this decision deliberately so there are no hidden extras or surprises at the moment of handover. You pay once — for the puppy — and receive your little one at home with no additional logistics costs. The only thing that is priced separately is the MilaPoo Box, a set of everything a maltipoo needs for the first weeks at home, if you would like to order it together with your puppy.
What you receive together with your puppy
Handing over a puppy is not simply a case of dropping off a dog and leaving. Together with your puppy you receive a complete set of documents and everything you need to get started. We give every family a veterinary passport with vaccination and deworming records, a pedigree certificate or registration depending on the type of puppy, and a supply of food for the first days — the exact same food the puppy has been eating with us. A sudden change of food in the first days after moving increases the stress of adaptation, so we always include the puppy’s familiar food to make the transition to the new home as smooth as possible.

What the process looks like from choosing to receiving your puppy
We understand that buying a puppy is a serious decision, and people want to know what every step looks like. So we lay out the process clearly and in order, so there are no surprises along the way.
Step 1. Choosing your puppy
You browse the puppy catalogue and pick the puppy that feels right for you. If you have questions about a specific puppy — write to us, we will tell you everything in detail: temperament, expected adult size, individual traits. We can record a video or arrange a video call so you can see the puppy moving and interacting.
Step 2. Reservation and deposit
Once you have decided — the puppy is reserved with a deposit. This is standard practice among responsible breeders: it confirms that you are serious and takes the puppy off the market. The deposit terms are discussed individually when you get in touch with us.
Step 3. Arranging delivery
We agree on a delivery date and time with you, or arrange the collection point if you are picking up in person. The courier will contact you the day before to confirm the details. You will know approximately when to expect the arrival so you can be home and ready to welcome your new puppy.
Step 4. Handover
The courier brings the puppy personally, together with the documents and food. You can ask any questions at that point. We stay available after the handover and answer questions about the puppy’s adaptation, feeding and behaviour in the first days at home. For a full guide on what to expect in the first 72 hours, read our article Preparing Your Home for a Maltipoo Puppy.
How to prepare for the puppy’s arrival
While you are waiting for your puppy, there are a few things worth sorting out in advance. First, prepare a sleeping spot — a bed or a soft corner where the puppy can feel safe and enclosed. Second, remove anything from the floor that could be dangerous — cables, small objects, cleaning products. Third, get the food — the one we specify at handover, so there is no abrupt change of diet. A full checklist of everything to prepare is in our article Preparing Your Home for a Maltipoo Puppy. If you would rather not spend time gathering supplies separately — order the MilaPoo Box together with your puppy and the courier will bring everything you need in one trip.
Why we don’t use courier companies for shipping puppies
This is something people ask us fairly often — why not use a courier service or parcel company? The answer is straightforward: we cannot guarantee the safety and comfort of a puppy travelling in a cargo hold without supervision. Maltipoos are small and emotionally sensitive dogs that react strongly to stress. The first hours and days after being separated from their mother and littermates are already a significant adjustment. Adding a journey in an unfamiliar crate surrounded by strange smells and sounds is an unnecessary burden that can affect both the health and the temperament of the puppy. That is why we chose the personal courier model: the puppy travels with a person, in warmth and with care. It costs us more as a kennel, but it is the right thing to do for every puppy we breed.
